South Foreland Trail

How will you discover the History that surrounds South Foreland Battery, there are 3 main ways to engage with the outward bound activity,  You will be spoilt for choice as you embark on The Journey, not only the history you will be learning along the way but the breath taking views on a clear day across to France, there is so much to do and see at South Foreland including the Lighthouse where you can stop for a refreshment or fly a kite.  From the Lighthouse you can also make the journey towards Dover taking in Fan Bay and see the Sound Mirrors or walk the Deep Shelter

 

You will be walking on tracks, unpaved paths and roads, appropriate footwear essential.
