Thanks to the Tesco Bags of Help scheme, we were awarded funds.
This is a really exciting local project to get a pond area up and functional, the project has been that exciting. Whilst clearing the site Dave found a full preserved foxes bones, from nose to tail, which will be able to be viewed through perspex on the decking, its currently covered up so as not to move any bits.
We are half way through the project, and look forward to welcoming Tesco staff from the local store to join in the next stage of planting to promote wildlife.
The project has brought the community together of all ages to work together, and taught children how to use tools.
Once complete facts and figures and the full story will be available
